Pitt Pharmacy uses a holistic review of applicants. A 3.0 in the sciences and overall GPA are considered competitive. The committee will review applications in their entirety. Applicants are encouraged to complete all experiences including extracurricular activities regardless of their connection to healthcare. Consider including honors and activities from high school!

Interviews are typically held on select Saturdays (weekdays may be available) and are 1 hour and 45 minutes in duration. Applicants will have an opportunity to interact with current PharmD students and school leadership. This is not part of the interview evaluation but is an opportunity to ask questions regarding the University and the PharmD program. A 30-minute individual interview with two faculty members will be part of the evaluation process.
Students invited to interview are asked to meet one-on-one with a Pitt Pharmacy Admissions Team member prior to interview to discuss prerequisites, interview logistics, writing assessment, and answer questions regarding the program.
