Program Description The James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy, located at the University of Cincinnati, is one of the oldest Colleges of Pharmacy in the United States. The College is located on the Academic Health Center Campus, along with the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health. The nationally recognized Pharm.D. program at the University of Cincinnati engages students in a rigorous curriculum that includes didactic coursework and experiential learning that begins in the first professional year. Small class sizes allow students to learn from our expert faculty. Pharmaceutical Science faculty have successful research endeavors in such areas as drug metabolism, cancer, molecular pharmaceutics and neuropharmacology. Pharmacy Practice and Administrative Science faculty have active practices in the specialty areas of cardiology, family medicine, geriatrics, oncology and psychiatry and research interests in health and medication outcomes. Our students consistently score higher than the national average on the NAPLEX examination.

Briefly describe your institution's interview process: Interviews will be 30 minutes and are conducted by a faculty member and a pharmacist-preceptor. The interview day also includes an information session, student session and a tour of the Academic Health Center.
