Program Description
In Fall 2021, the Creighton pharmacy program enrolled its first students in Phoenix, AZ. Students are learning in a new state-of-art, seven-story facility serving health science professional students in the heart of Park Central midtown.
Creighton University’s Phoenix expansion is in partnership with the Creighton University Arizona Health Education Alliance that consists of Creighton University, Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, District Medical Group and Valleywise Health to better serve the underserved populations of Arizona.
Phoenix pharmacy students experience our innovative distance learning technology for the didactic portion of the curriculum with the clinical lab component taught in the Park Central facility. The Park Central facility houses the Creighton University Phoenix campus: at its maximum nearly 900 health science students. The campus features cutting-edge technology, equipment and spaces.
Graduates of the program are well positioned for employment in a wide range of health service settings, including private businesses, hospitals, clinics, government, military and academic and research institutions. Please visit our website for more details at https://www.creighton.edu/academics/programs/pharmacy.

The biology, chemistry, and organic chemistry courses must be a two-semester, eight-hour or equivalent course sequences. A course sequence is considered to be a correlated pair of courses offering in-depth coverage of a specific field and must be at a level such that the courses would be acceptable as prerequisites to advance towards a baccalaureate degree in that discipline. For chemistry and biology courses, survey courses, courses without associated laboratories, and courses designed for non-science majors are not acceptable as prerequisite science courses.
A 3 semester hour/4.5 quarter hour course in calculus, physics or quantitative chemistry can be used to fill that specific prerequisite. Pre-calculus, survey of calculus and brief calculus will not fulfill this requirement.
