Program Description
Husson was founded in 1898 and in October of 2009 became Husson University in recognition of its status as a professional doctoral degree granting institution. The 200-acre campus is located in Bangor, Maine, with a total enrollment of 3600 students. The College of Health and Pharmacy has expanded its health care offerings to also include graduate programs in pharmacy, nursing, physical therapy and occupational therapy. The 145-credit, four-year professional pharmacy program includes introductory and advanced practice experiences beginning as early as the first professional year. Our mission is to "educate and mentor current and future pharmacists in collaborative and supportive environments that promote student success and patient-centered care."

Students are invited for interviews based on their math/science GPA. Interviews are conducted in the morning and afternoon and consist of an orientation, a 20 minute case discussion, a 20 minute timed writing on a question related to the case study and a 30 minute interview with a faculty member from the School of Pharmacy.
