Interviews
Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI)
No
Purpose: The LAU SOP recognizes that academic excellence is not the only benchmark for success. SOP uses multiple mini-interviews for candidates. This process allows interviewers to become acquainted with candidates. Structure: Each candidate visits three committees and each committee is responsible for assessing one theme (e.g. problem solving, etc..) and the student's attributes in 5 to 7-minute sessions for a 20-minute interview. Interview Content: Interview questions relate to the candidate's non-academic past experiences, performances and behaviors.
